Gail E. West

Gail E West passed away on Feb. 4, 2011 in Lincoln, NE.  He was born Sept. 19, 1921 in Dundy County to Sam & Leona West. Gail married Nona Berry on July 7, 1951.

He leaves his wonderful memories behind to his wife, Nona, 4 sons and daughter in laws: Larry & Heidi, Duane & Barb, Dale & Ann and Gaylen & Lydia.  His 7 grandchildren, Beau, Justin, Jessica, Joshua, Ryan, Nicole and Tenisa.  His 5 great grand children, Taytum, Jirsa, Haley, Alaina and Abigail. His sister, Bonnie Winklemann, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends  His beloved lap dog, Mindi.

Gail lived his life for his family.  His greatest joy was the many family gatherings that we enjoyed.

Memorial Services will be held at Wyuka Funeral Home on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 10:00 A.M.

 Memorials to the American Heart Association, Alzheimers Association or the Donor’s choice.

    Rest assured that Gail is looking down upon you and will do so each day to make sure you are all taken care of. Much love to you all, I will pray for you. Cherish all of the memorie and fun times. It was a pleasure to hear some of them Sunday while I had opportunity to spend time with you. Laughter through tears is the best medicine.

    We are so sorry to hear about your Gail, we know he will be greatly missed. Please let us know if you need anything. Not just car help, but we are here for you for any help you may need, we are all thinking about you and your family this week, and we pray that God will have his loving hands around your family in this time of seperation and healing.
