Julia Ellen McMichael age 92 of Lincoln, Nebraska died on Monday, May 13, 2013 at Bickford Cottage in Lincoln. She was born on April 4, 1921 in Seward County Nebraska to Ralph and Teresa A. (Sullivan) Walsh. She married Forrest Ray McMichael on December 4, 1943 in Wichita, Kansas. Julia worked for many years as a Real Estate Broker at Century Realty. She loved dancing, cooking and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Julia is survived by her children: Kathy (Jim) Gordon of Grand Island; Kelly Cidlik of Lincoln; Forrest McMichael II of Laramie, Wyoming; John (Cathy) McMichael of Lincoln; and Peggy McMichael of Lincoln. Grandchildren: Belinda Cook of Lincoln; Jessica (Randall) Sorge of Hastings; Aaron Cidlik, Anna Cidlik both of Lincoln; Andrea McMichael, Christopher McMichael both of Fort Collins, Colorado; Amanda McMichael of Omaha, Kyle McMichael of Lincoln and Lukas (Ann) McMichael of Alexandria, Virginia. Great-grandchildren: Melanie, Parker, Taylor, Natasha, Tea, Jax, Lyric, Giana, Jonathon, Caileigh, Braydan and Paxtyn. Sisters: Bernadine Walsh of Sacramento, California; Bonnie Miller and Betty Anderson of Omaha. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband on August 22, 2008, sisters, Margaret, LaVern, Evelyn and Darlene.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Wyuka Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Wyuka Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Wyuka Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.

Oh my…I was saddened to hear of Judy’s death. I haven’t seen her for a long time, but my memories of her are forever etched in my mind and my heart. She was such a ‘neat’ lady.
