Susan Diamond, age 78, died July 2, 2013 in Omaha. She was born August 19, 1934 in Lincoln, NE to Harry and Dorothy (Gordon) Diamond. Susan graduated from Lincoln High School, University of Wisconsin at Madison with a degree in physical education and Stanford University, where she obtained her Masters degree in physical education. Susan taught in Riverside, CA. Ralston High School in Ralston, NE and St. Patrick’s School in Lincoln.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 5, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Wyuka Cemetery in Lincoln . Friends are invited to gather at Wyuka Funeral Home by 1:30 P.M.
I only knew Susan through her helping so many people. Several years ago she helped a lady find a place to live and helped her get furniture, etc. I talked to her several times on the phone. Sorry to hear of her passing away. I also taught P.E. so we had that in common. Judy
Susan helped us when our baby was diagnosed with diabetes. She was so kind and generous.
