Marie Wilson

Wilson, MarieMarie (Hoffman) Patterson Wilson, 89, of Lincoln, went to heaven Nov. 19, 2014. Born in Lincoln to John & Barbara (Kisselman) Hoffman April 8, 1925, Marie loved to dance & travel.   She worked for many years and retired from Norden Labs.

Survivors include sisters-in-law Betty Hoffman of CO & Mickie Hoffman of Lincoln, daughter-in-law Cheryl Dill Patterson of Murdock, granddaughter & husband Heather (Patterson) & Drew Meyer of NC, grandson & wife Christopher & Melissa Patterson of KS, four nieces, two nephews, four grandchildren, dear friend, Mary Beth Morris.  Preceded in death by husband Mel, parents and siblings, and children Timothy J. Patterson & Deborah (Patterson) Mitchell.

Memorial service will be held 1:30pm on Sat. Nov. 22 at Wyuka Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Morris.  No visitation, cremation. Memorials to family for later designation can be sent to 6039 Dixon Drive Raleigh, NC 27609.

  1. We will miss our grandmother and Greatmother (Marie Wilson Patterson. We would of loved to have had more time with her. And her to have had more time with her Great grandchildren. Even thou we know she couldn’t wait to be in Hevean with our Lord. Also to be able to be with her Children and Family. It grives me that our children her great grandchildren.

    Will not have her around as I did when I was growing up. For them to grow up and not have a Great grandmother or any grandparents as I did. I know how greatfull I was to have her in my life. I am in disarray at this moment , With a loss of the words to Express how sad we are for her passing. Our children, Our family, Lost a Great person , Grandmother, great grandmother, Friend, Aunt. She was so much more to so many people!

    Our children lost a awesome GreatGrandma. As we lost an awesome grandma Our kids will never be able to have a childhood like most children and ad I did. My Grandmother Marie. Is so Happy
    She is in heaven rite now! She is hugging and kissing her kids. My Dad is probably so happy. My Father her son were so close he was always. Caring for his mother , grandma Marie. My Grandma, always would say ,
    I’m just fine Tim!
    Just fine. I don’t need anything.
    Dad Would say ,
    Ae you su’re mom! Yes. With a big smile! she’d say.
    Dad would ask again in a kidding way ! Yes, Yes get out of here.!
    I’m just fine! So many stories to tell! Grandma give my Dad a hug from us.
    We will keep her memory alive threw stories. We will tell our children the stories. They will tell them to there children and so on.She Will Never Be Forgotten.

    Grandma Maria was an awesome cook! She Made the best Runzas from scratch with her German recipe! Thanks so much Grandma for passing in down to my wife! Will always
