Ardaith “Ardie” Eitel age 68 of Lincoln, passed away December 25, 2014 with her husband and daughters by her side. She was born September 14, 1946 in Lincoln to David K. and Marguerite (Cowell) Titterington.
Survivors include her husband, Tom Eitel of Lincoln. Daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Marguerite and Michael Borrenpohl of Tecumseh, Nebraska; Tracey Ann Eitel Neidner and Duane Neidner of Lincoln. Mother, Marguerite Titterington of Lincoln. Sisters and brother-in-law, Kay Kirchhoff of Lincoln; Margo and Gary Larson of Pleasant Dale, Nebraska. Brother and sister-in-law, David and Linda Titterington of Lincoln. Grandchildren, Kyle and Sarah Borrenpohl; Kysen Neidner. Step grandchildren, Breanna Lopez, Hanna Borrenpohl and Michael Borrenpohl Jr. Great grandson, Ryker Triplett. Step great granddaughter, Alexandria Lopez. Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by her father, David and Nephew, Greg Kirchhoff.

We knew Ardie from Quebecor Printing and worked beside her for years.She was a great person to be around, and had a great personality. Although you didn’t want to get on her bad side because she would let you know what she thought! {HA! HA!} She was fun to work with and we loved her very much, She will be missed and thought of in our hearts. It was an honor to be her freind! Love you Ardie, Danny and Marlene.
We worked with Ardie at Quebecor Printing for years. She was a great person to work with. But you didn’t want to get her mad, or she would let you know what she thought. {HA! HA!} We had a great time working with her and all the fun times we had! She will be missed, and thought of in our hearts. Thinking of you Ardie, Love Danny and Marlene.
Dear Tom &Family, Lots of special memories over the years. Working together at Family Drug and Barb’s…..watching our families grow up….Christmas Eve RUNZAS at Grandma and Grandpa Eitels. Ardie was the family Anise cookie maker. We both learned how, but she was the one who continued the tradition, RUNZAS too. Every time I look at the calendar she gave me for my birthday I will remember her. Strong, loyal , loving…..I will miss her.
Tom, You have been an amazing caregiver. Your parents would be so proud. I know Ardie appreciated and loved the help and comfort you provided.

I am sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of knowing Ardie living next door to relatives and working with her at the web press. I remember talking with her about her family, the wild bird store, and her dog. Ardie will be missed but we will always have good memories.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Ardie’s passing. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Ardie was my friend from childhood on and I have many wonderful memories of growing up with her. One memory I hold most dear is walking home every day from grade school and junior high and stopping and talking on every street corner. It took us hours to get home from school. We had such great times.
I’ve seen Ardie just a few times since we all scattered after high school. I saw her a couple of times when she lived in the Sandhills, and I lived in North Platte. After moving to Lincoln I felt like I kept in touch with her by visiting with Margo occasionally.
