James L. Jurgens age 65 of Lincoln, passed away September 29, 2015. He was born August 31, 1950 in Fremont, Nebraska to Richard and Peggy (Clark) Jurgens.
Survivors include his son, Bryce Jurgens and his fiancé Jackie Fullerton of Lincoln; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Trisha Jurgens of Lincoln and a daughter, Janelle Miller of Wilber, Nebraska. James’ fiancé, Vicki Jurgens of Lincoln. 8 grandchildren. Sister, Cheryl Jindra of Friend, Nebraska.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 5, 2015 at Capitol City Christian Church, 7800 Holdrege, Lincoln.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th at church beginning at 10:00 A.M.

I’ve known Jim for several years going back to my days at KOOL 105.3. Our friendship grew from that time on. My condolences to Vicki, and the family.
Jim made friends with everyone he came in contact with, he had a certain way of brightening people’s day and helping them in anyway he could. He, like my father was part of the Havelock Santa house, they both had a way of bringing realism to the job and making believers of the kids. He will be missed by many.
