Deborah “Debb” R. Moore

 

FB_IMG_1444232073515 (2)-001Deborah “Debb” R. Moore, age 64 of Alvo, NE passed away at home surrounded by family on October 6, 2015. Born in Council Bluffs, IA to Roy and Alice (Cooper) Daugherty, she spent most of her life in the Lincoln area. Debb worked for 38 years in parts and services for Harley Davidson with many loyal customers. Her passions were family, music, and motorcycles – her parents were also motorcyclists.

She is survived by her husband Marcus Moore; daughters, Lia Leiting and Tara (Carlos) Montenegro; brother Dennis Daugherty; sister Cheri Daugherty; grandchildren, Jessica, Tina, TJ, Isabel, Diego, and Caitlan; great grandchildren, Zoe, Chloe, Jessy, Grascie and Ross.

She is preceded by her parents and sister Sheila Daugherty.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 17 at Wyuka Funeral Home Chapel, 3600 “O” St, Lincoln, with a Reception following. Condolences at www.wyuka.com

  3. God needed another angel up in Heaven. Debbie was my sister in so many ways. I will always cherish the memories she has left me, but never get over losing another piece of my heart. I love you cousin!! Till we meet again.

  4. So sorry for your loss. Debb was a great person & a great friend. Even tho I haven’t seen or talked for a long time I always thought of her from time to time. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts & Prayers to all the family

  5. I worked with Deb at Lou’s in Eagle! She was always so bubbly and always had a smile! Prayers for all her family at this time! You will be missed by so many people!

  6. I have many great memories with my girl cousins. Deb was always there looking out for us but was letting us have fun too. I recall one vacation together where us girls were little boy crazy, Debb would pull in the reins if we were too crazy, but she would make us laugh about it. She will be missed in our Cooper family.

  8. I will have Debb forever in my thoughts and my heart. Friends since we were giggly teenagers. Always so happy and always smiling. I will also never forget the help from her for my niece Brandy’s, benefit. She was a very special person to my entire family. Thoughts and prayers for her whole family.

  10. Always smiling n helping others, sweet funny smart Debb. Felt dear Marc was so blessed when they hooked up. Loved her family so much. Didn’t keep in recent contact but will always be glad to have known such a special strong but kind woman. We met thru bikes n friends in 1980s n will never forget her. My sincere sympathies to all her family. Thinking of you, Marc, with sadness n hope. May the music of memories play like soft songs in your hearts.

  12. I only got to work and meet with Degg twice as an Occupational Therapist with Tabitha. She had such determination despite feeling “lousy”. Prayers to the family as you treasure your memories.

  14. My heart goes out to you all as we say farewell to Debb in this life. I can close my eyes and see her smile. That will always stay with me.I can’t physically be at the service, but want you all to know that I will be there in spirit. Hugs and prayers to each of you.

  15. I remember Debbie as the cutest lovable cousin. She loved the outdoors and playing in the dirt. Her smile has always been amazing lighting her whole face and bringing out smiles of others. We have always lived far away from each other but I will always treasure those few times we were together. My prayers and thoughts are with her family during this time and the days to come.

  18. Deb you will be dearly missed. Patty and I have known you forever it seems like because of your pushing and telling Patty I missed him is the reason we are together. We’ve been with each other now 30 + years. I never did get to thank you because he did not tell me until you got sick. Deb thank you sooo much my dear friend. Just know you were and are a dearly loved person. You never knew a stranger. Rest in peace my friend. We love you ,Patty and Deana ??
