Dr. Caryll Palmer Wilson, clinical psychologist, 64, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015, at home in the loving care of her family, in Ceresco, NE. Born August 3^rd, 1951 to Edmund and Jeannette (Ferry) Hallowell in Germantown, Philadelphia, PA; she was the eldest of two daughters. A passionate woman who lived life to the fullest, Caryll earned her pilot’s license and was flying her own plane by age 24. She later graduated from college summa cum laude and obtained her doctorate from the School Psychology program at UNL in Lincoln, NE. She was the founder and president of the Wilson Behavioral Pediatric and Family Psychology Clinic (later renamed Williamsburg Behavioral…) in Lincoln, NE. She cared very deeply for her patients, and specialized in treating childhood and adult autistic spectrum disorders. Caryll fell ill with cancer in 2013 and fought bravely with an unwaveringly positive attitude until the end.

Happily married for 33 years to her husband, Dwayne Wilson, she is also survived by their daughter, Laura Borden (Ron Borden) son, Joe Palmer, daughter Taylor Wilson, daughter Araya Wilson, sister Jill Foley (nephews Robert and Michael Frazier), and father Edmund Hallowell (Joanne Hallowell); grandchildren Jack and Ethan Borden, and numerous family and friends.

She was preceded in death by son, Damon Wilson, and her mother, Jeannette Hallowell.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Wyuka Funeral Home Chapel, 3600 “O” Street, Lincoln.  Burial will follow in Wyuka Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 at Wyuka before the Funeral Service.  There will be a meal of condolence served after the Graveside Service in Wyuka’s Garden Room.
