Loretta J. Kreiter

Loretta J. Kreiter age 97 of Lincoln, passed away December 3, 2017.  She was born July 25, 1920 in Manfred, North Dakota to Jacob and Florence (Edinger) Wagner.

Survivors, sons and daughter-in-law, Don and Susie Kreiter of Lincoln, Kurby Kreiter of Texas.  Granddaughter, Pennie Marshall, grandson, Stacy Kreiter, great grandsons, Joshua Marshall and Luke Marshall all of Lincoln.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, her parents and 2 sisters, Luella and Ida.

Services will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Wyuka Funeral Home.

Interment will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Lincoln Memorial Park.  Family and friends will meet at Gate 2 prior to 10:00 A.M.

Visitation will be at Wyuka Funeral Home on Sunday, December 10, 2017 from Noon until 6:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 4:00-5:00 P.M.

Family requests memorials in lieu of flowers to College View Academy Worthy Student Fund.

  2. So sorry to read of the loss of your mother. She was a truly amazing individual who always saw the glass half full in spite of her many hardships. I will always have fond memories of her.

  6. My deepest condolences to you upon the passing of Loretta. She was a lovely lady, always kind, cheerful and a reflection of God’s love. I look forward to seeing her again in heaven. May God’s love and strength cover you in this time of sorrow.

  7. So sorry to learn of Loretta’s passing. She was the best neighbor ever! Always loved it when she would call and say, “Meet me out by the back fence!” That meant she had a bowl of vegetable soup or a sweet treat, usually warm sticky buns. Loved her strong and independent nature, her big heart and her devotion to faith and family. She will be greatly missed.

  8. Don, Susie, & Kirby
    We were saddened to hear of the passing of your mom. We will always remember the many times we spent at their place when we were in college. Especially the Saturday nights spent eating snacks & all the funny stories your parents told. And then the times we stayed with them when coming back to invoke to visit. Your mom was truly a remarkable loving lady. And the German food she made also was exceptionally delicious. All the memories will be remembered. We send our prayers to you all for peace and comfort.
