Kenneth “Diz” Roberts

Kenneth “Diz” Roberts age 91 of Bee, Nebraska, passed away December 9, 2017. He was born August 16, 1926 in Calvert, KS to George and Emma (Akin) Roberts.
He is survived by his wife Donna (Roe) Roberts, son, Gary (Sandy) Roberts, Daughters; Connie (Jim) Cook and Kay Roberts, 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Fred, Joe, Clark, Robert, Ora, sisters; Fern Eshelman, Wilva Lamb-Hutchens, and Velda Bieghler, son, Jim Roberts, daughter in-law Linda Roberts and son in-law Mike BussVisitation Monday, December 11, 2017 from 3:00 to 7:00p.m., family present from 5:00 to 7:00p.m. at Wyuka Funeral Home, 3600 “O” Street
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 10:00a.m. at Wyuka Funeral Home.

Sherry J. Schwarck

December 5, 2017

Sherry Jean Schwarck age 69 of Lincoln, passed away December 4, 2017.  She was born July 3, 1948 in Lincoln to Paul R. and Lillian B. (Niederhaus) Weiler.  Sherry worked in the accounting department at Goodyear for 25 years.

She is survived by her son, Shawn Garber, grandson, Zach Garber, great granddaughter, Ellie Garber.  Mother, Lillian Weiler of Lincoln,  Sisters and brother-in-law, Coni Weiler, Paula and Thomas Srb of Lincoln.  Sherry was very fond of her niece Melissa Srb.  She is preceded in death by her father, Paul Weiler.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.

Private family interment will be at Wyuka Cemetery.

Loretta J. Kreiter

December 4, 2017

Loretta J. Kreiter age 97 of Lincoln, passed away December 3, 2017.  She was born July 25, 1920 in Manfred, North Dakota to Jacob and Florence (Edinger) Wagner.

Survivors, sons and daughter-in-law, Don and Susie Kreiter of Lincoln, Kurby Kreiter of Texas.  Granddaughter, Pennie Marshall, grandson, Stacy Kreiter, great grandsons, Joshua Marshall and Luke Marshall all of Lincoln.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, her parents and 2 sisters, Luella and Ida.

Services will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Wyuka Funeral Home.

Interment will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Lincoln Memorial Park.  Family and friends will meet at Gate 2 prior to 10:00 A.M.

Visitation will be at Wyuka Funeral Home on Sunday, December 10, 2017 from Noon until 6:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 4:00-5:00 P.M.

Family requests memorials in lieu of flowers to College View Academy Worthy Student Fund.

Eva Joye Phelps

December 1, 2017

Eva Joye (Palser) Phelps, 88, passed away November 30th, 2017. Eva was born March 26, 1929 to John Ashton and Katie Blanche (Johnson) Palser in Ord, NE and was raised on the family farm in Davis Creek, NE. She moved to Lincoln in 1948 and worked at Elgin Watch Factory. Eva married Coleman C. Phelps, Jr. April 9, 1950. Their marriage was blessed by three children: Paul David, Jane Louise, and Dean Steven. Eva was a devoted member of the church of Christ and the Ladies Bible Class, dedicated children’s Bible class teacher, loving and supporting mom to her own children, their friends, and all the neighborhood kids.
Survived by daughter and son-in-law Jane and Ron Franson, son and daughter-in-law Dean and Christi Phelps, grandson and wife Cole and Shayna Franson, granddaughter Carrie Franson, great grandchildren KayLana, Jayvon, KinLeigh, and KataLya; nieces, nephews, numerous cousins, friends, and grand dog Bubba.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 56 years, Coleman; son Paul David, and 10 siblings: Stella Kerr, Harold Ellsworth Palser, Robert Carroll Palser, George Edward Palser, Florence Wright, Mary Esther Rowe, John Weldon Palser, Paul Wayne Palser, Arthur Eldon Palser, and Richard Eugene Palser.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 3, 2017, 12:00 to 6:00p.m. at Wyuka Funeral Home, 3600 O St, Lincoln
Burial Monday, December 4th, 10:00a.m. at Fairview Cemetery, 84th & Adams, Lincoln.
Memorial service Monday, December 4th at 11:00a.m. at Lincoln Church of Christ, 820 N. 56th St., Lincoln, NE 68504
