Hazel R. Hansen age 90 of Lincoln passed away April 9, 2019. She was born September 16, 1928 in Farwell, Nebraska to William and Myrtle (Wilson) Gow. Hazel was a partner with her husband Wayne, owning and operating Hansen Insurance Agency. They also loved dancing to Big Band music and Hazel’s favorite waltzes.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Patricia and Bruce Staley of Houston, Texas, Carol and Cecil Hinshaw of Ennis, Montana. Grandchildren and spouses Cara and Dennis Bauer of San Diego, California, Shauna Staley of Houston, Texas, Kelli and Jason Thompson of Elkhorn, Nebraska, Jake and Libby Hinshaw of Bozeman, Montana, Whitney Hinshaw and Tim Sullivan of Bozeman, Montana. Great grandchildren Hailey Dedlow of Elkhorn, Nebraska, Zac Bauer and Riley Bauer both of San Diego, California. Hazel is preceded in death by her husband Wayne, her parents, twin granddaughters Mary Christine and Teresa Marie Hinshaw, sisters Doris Zimbelman and Arlene Brubaker.
Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, April 15, 2019 at Wyuka Funeral Home.
Visitation will be on Sunday, April 14, 2019 from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at Wyuka Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Wyuka Cemetery.
