John was born December 6, 1942 and passed away April 20, 2022. He was surrounded by his family when he passed. John was a Navy veteran who loved animals – especially dogs – and his children too. He leaves behind his children Julie (Dan) Dryden, Michael (Wendy) Jeffres, Kathy (Mike) Sieck, Nicole Beckman, David Beckman and his sister Sandi (Scott) Standley. 

He is preceded in death by his long-time companion Laura Love of Las Vegas, Nevada, his son Troy Jeffres, his mother JoAnn Jeffres, his sister MaryAnn Jeffres and his brother Richard Kile. He has many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

John was born in Miami, Florida and lived most of his life in Las Vegas, Nevada where he met his beloved Laura. He made a career in painting and flew as a small aircraft pilot in his free time. He and Laura enjoyed spending time together and taking care of their puppies Zoe, Codie, Tippy, Manford and Tiny.
