Beverly C. Hamill passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022.  She was born in Fredericktown, Missouri on October 27, 1935.  Beverly later moved to Odessa, Missouri with her family and eventually settled in Beatrice, Nebraska with her family.  She graduated from Beatrice High School and then attended Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska where she met her husband, Donald Hamill.  Beverly worked her way through college by working at several banking institutions and later with her husband they purchased Lincoln Lumber Company, where she continued to work until her retirement.  Beverly enjoyed traveling and was fortunate enough to visit many foreign countries, including England and Norway which she enjoyed immensely with her family.  Beverly also enjoyed sewing and needlepoint.  Beverly and Donald attended the Raymond Methodist Church regularly.

Beverly is survived by her husband of over 60 years Donald Hamill, 2 daughters Joanne Garnett and her husband Mike, and Peggy Sorensen and her husband Keith.  Beverly is also survived by two sisters Sharon Doll and Diane Richards and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father James Douthit and her mother Emma Sue Douthit, and one brother Phil Douthit.

Services will be held at the Raymond United Methodist Church, 14750 N. 3rd, in Raymond, Nebraska on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 10:30 A.M.  No visitation.  Private family burial at Wyuka Cemetery.
