Stavan R. Starks age 68 of Lincoln passed away April 9, 2023. She was born February 4, 1955 in Miller, South Dakota to Richard and Margaret (Parmely) Starks. Stavan worked as a CNA and a medical secretary.
She is survived by her sisters Lafran Preble, Leonda Anglin and Tammie Waldrop. Brother Vonn Starks. Stavan is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Crain Starks and Surn Starks and sister Terrill Hendershot (Starks).
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Interment will be at the GAR cemetery in Miller, South Dakota.
We are sorry to hear of Stavan’s passing. She was a VHS classmate and a very good friend to my wife. May God bless.

Stavan was the sweetest gal and a dear friend. She was in scouts with me and her mom was our scout leader when we were young. Sheila Hagedorn and I would meet her and walk to school together . We’d love to get her giggling because then she couldn’t stop.
