Kenneth D. Hipp, 94, of Lincoln and North Platte, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2024. Born on August 7, 1930, Ken was a dedicated family man, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Ken married Isabelle Bookwalter on May 4, 1951, in North Platte, Nebraska, sharing a long and cherished marriage until her passing. Together, they raised three children, and he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Isabelle, son Ben, his parents, and his in-laws.

He is survived by his daughters, Melinda Gorley (Scott) and Simone Hipp, grandsons Joey and Kenny Hipp, and his cherished great-grandchildren, JJ, Jayden, Lilly, and Wilder.Ken proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. After his military service, he embarked on a successful career as a warehouseman and businessman, working in Spokane and Tacoma, Washington, North Platte, Nebraska, and Las Vegas, Nevada. After retirement, Ken enjoyed spending his remaining years with family in Las Vegas and Lincoln.

Ken will be remembered for his kindness, his unwavering dedication to his family, and his many years of service. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A private graveside service will be held in his honor. Memorials may be directed to the family for further designation.
