Maydene Ruth McCoy age 82 of Lincoln, Nebraska died on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at the Crete Manor in Crete, Nebraska.  She was born on April 11, 1929 in Havelock to James and Clevia (Holland) Stephens.  She was retired from the Veterans Hospital after many years in food service.  Maydene was a member of the Northeast Missionary Alliance Church.

Maydene is survived by her husband, Murell of Lincoln; son, Monte and Christine McCoy of Eagle, Nebraska; daughter, Marcia McCoy of Lincoln; grandson, Mitchell McCoy stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington; brother, Lester Stephens of Houston, Texas; brother, Paul and Wilma Stephens of Lincoln; sister, Sharon Matlock of Colorado.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, James and Stephen Rhoades; step-granddaughter, Heather Gustefson; brother, Glenn Stephens.

Cremation/no visitation.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor David Miller officiating.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
