Lola Gertrude Ozenbaugh, age 89 of Lincoln, Nebraska, died on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 in Lincoln. She was born on October 14, 1922 in York, Nebraska to John and Gertrude (Fredeen) Foster. Lola worked as a secretary at May Morley Grade School for many years. She then worked at the State Capital in the Legislature as an administrative assistant. During her time with the Legislature, she worked for three State Senators. After she completed her time with the Legislature, she obtained her real estate and broker’s license. Lola was a Gold Star Sister with the VFW Auxiliary Post 131.
Lola is survived by her daughter, Sue Ann Busing of Lincoln; son Robert B. and Pam Ozenbaugh of Spring, Texas; grandsons Joseph Busing of Lincoln, Dr. Brian Ozenbaugh and Jennifer Fochek of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Brent and Mari Ishiyama Ozenbaugh of Santa Monica, California; sisters, Lucille Holloch of Portland, Oregon, Patricia Sullivan of Hemet, California; brother, Cliff Foster of Lexington, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, brothers, Paul, Harold, John and Sterling.
Cremation/no visitation.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Wyuka Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Wyuka Cemetery.
