Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.

  15. To the family and friends of Ben Lewis,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I can’t begin to imagine the pain of losing a child. I can imagine the pain of watching a child suffer from being “different” and picked on. My 15 year old son has Asperger’s. Society doesn’t appreciate how these kids think. They are so very sweet and innocent as they literally interpret the world. I wish I could say something to take away some of your pain-I pray for peace and comfort to you.

  17. Melissa,

My deepest sympathy is extended to you and your family.

As you know, I dearly loved Ben! I thought he had such a sweet and loving disposition. I loved how he would hold my hand when we walked somewhere. I especially loved it when he would get in trouble and we would have to talk to you after school because it took everything in me not to laugh at his responses!! As a teacher, I can guarantee you that I learned as much from Ben as he learned from me.

My heart goes out to you at this difficult time.
