Josie O. Filbert age 88 of Lincoln, Nebraska died on Friday, March 9, 2012 in Lincoln.  She was born on April 18, 1923 in Platte County Nebraska to Jake and Lena (Lammers) Mohr.  She married Martin John Filbert who preceded her in death.  Josie retired from Ovaltine Food Products.  She was a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church.  A special thank you to all of Josie’s friends at Eagle Hollow.

Josie is survived by her son and spouse, Gene and Karen Filbert of Milford; daughter and spouse, Bonnie and Brian Beix of Edgewood, New Mexico;  daughter, Nancy Ward of Loveland, CO; 3 grandchildren, Shawn Filbert and Kristen Derr of Milford; Katelyn Burns of Boulder, CO.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 7 brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at Wyuka Cemetery with Pastor Verdell Schramm officiating.

Burial will be in Wyuka Cemetery.
