Ralph Edward Sell

Ralph Edward Sell age 88 passed away on Monday, October 22, 2012 peacefully at his home in Lincoln Nebraska.  Ralph was born on July 6, 1924 in Weeping Water, Nebraska to George and Verlie (Bates) Sell. He graduated from Weeping Water High School. He served in the United States Army during WWII in the European Theater. Ralph married the love of his life Alice Tobin on March 21, 1946. In 2008 he was proud to go to Washington D.C. on the Honor Flight. Ralph was employed as a laundry supervisor at Globe Laundry for 50 years. He was also a member of the Northeast United Church of Christ.

Ralph is survived by his children; Betty and Randy Cary of Lincoln, Larry Sell of Beaverton, Oregon, Walt and Pam Sell of Lincoln, and Robin & Harlan Wusk of Firth, 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, sister-in-laws; Pat Sell, Margaret Nelson, Shirley Land, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Alice, brothers, LaRoy, Lloyd, sister, Ruth and daughter-in-law, Patti Sell.

Cremation, no visitation.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Northeast United Church of Christ with Melissa Finlaw Draper officiating.

A private family graveside service will held in Wyuka Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the Northeast United Church of Christ.
