Irene M. Planer age 89 of Lincoln, Nebraska died on Friday, November 9, 2012 in Lincoln.  She was born on May 26, 1923 in South Bend, Nebraska to Henry and Mary (Brauckmuller) Timm.  She graduated from Murdock High School.  She was retired from HyGain. Irene was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Irene is survived by her daughter, Terry and Wayne Kadavy of Raymond; son, John Planer of Lincoln; grandson, Dillon Kadavy of Raymond; granddaughter, Lindsey Kadavy of Raymond; sisters, Darlene Wieting of Lincoln; Betty Wolfe of Raymond.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; sister, Elsie Timm; brother-in-laws, Richard Wieting and George Wolfe.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 12, 2012 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with family receiving friends from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Wyuka Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at Wyuka Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Ebert officiating.

Burial will be in Wyuka Cemetery.
