June Patricia Franson age 89 of Lincoln, Nebraska died on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at her home in Lincoln. She was born on June 27, 1924 in Lincoln to Oscar and Christine (Harrington) Skiles. She graduated from Lincoln High School. June married Joseph Franson. She was very artistic, loved gardening, photography, sewing and dancing.
June is survived by her son, Lindon Franson of Lompoc, CA; daughter, Linda and Jerry Bryceson of Lincoln; daughter, Patricia and Daniel Picotte of Lincoln; grandchildren, Charlotte Helton of Oregon; Justin and Jessica Bryceson of Lincoln; Danielle Picotte of Lincoln; Perry Picotte of Lincoln; great-grandson, Donavan Bryceson; great-granddaughter, Genevieve Helton; brother, Julian and Pat Skiles of New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Joseph.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 19, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Wyuka Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Wyuka Cemetery.
Burial will be in Wyuka Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
