Robert E. Hunt, Sr., age 90 of Lincoln, passed away September 11, 2013. He was born January 27, 1923 in Auburn, New York to Leo James and Elnora (Brennan) Hunt. Bob was a U.S. Army veteran serving as a medic during WWII in France.
Survivors include his former spouse and friend, Joyce Hunt of Lincoln. Daughters and Son-in-law, Deb Crandall of Ft. Pierce, FL; Mildred and Dan Shepler of New York. Son Robert E. Hunt, Jr. of Lincoln. Granddaughters, Nicki of New York and Stefanie of Florida. Grandson, Leroy Crandall, Jr. Niece, Bonnie Rockwell of New York. 5 step children, many step grandchildren.
Graveside services with military rites will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at Wyuka Cemetery.

Our sympathy to Joyce and the family. Bob was a wonderful person, a joy to be around. He always shared a smile and a laugh.
He will be missed but not for long, because very soon when Heavens gates are opened we will be able to see Bob again and laugh and dance in heavens garden with our Savior.
Rejoice for he is not gone bu resting peacefully until our Savior comes again.
