Lois C. Bodtke, age 85 of Lincoln passed away February 3, 2014. She was born April 27, 1928 at home near Hubbell, Nebraska to Thomas C. and Emma (Meyer) Laverentz. Lois married Marvin Bodtke on July 6, 1952, together they owned and operated Marv’s Central Market in Hebron, Nebraska until retiring in 1993.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin E. Bodtke; daughter, Debra Bodtke; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Dana Bodtke all of Lincoln. Sister, Mildred House of Clyde, Ohio and a brother, Ralph Laverentz of Broomfield, Colorado. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donald Laverentz.
Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, February 7, 2014 at Wyuka Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 2:00-8:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Wyuka Funeral Home.
Interment will be at Wyuka Cemetery.
