Mabel M. Tichota, age 89, of Lincoln passed away April 1, 2014. She was born June 30, 1924 in Pierce, Nebraska to Willy and Frieda (Dranselka) Ahlman.
Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Caroline Province of Lincoln, Kathleen and Bill Roussan of Salem, Nebraska. Sons and Daughters-in-law, Randolph and Katherine Tichota of Lincoln, James and Judy Tichota of Lincoln, Marlan and Donna Tichota of Oklahoma. Brothers, Larry Ahlman and Arnold Ahlman. Sisters, Gladys Harbison, Sarah Mosel, Vera Oestrich. 9 Grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Mabel was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Tichota, her parents, 7 brothers and 3 sisters.
Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Evangelical United Lutheran Church, 5945 Fremont St. Visitation will be on Friday, April 4th at Wyuka Funeral Home from 1:00-8:00 P.M. with the family greeting friends from 7:00-8:00 P.M.
Interment will be at Wyuka Cemetery.
