Stanley Ray Drabant, age 86, passed away Friday, February 6th, 2015, in Lincoln, NE. He was born Nov 15, 1928 in Hillsboro, Illinois, the forth child of Julia and Michael Drabant. Stan served in the Air Force from October 1946 to August 1949, and was stationed in Greenland and at the Pentagon. In 1949 he moved to Lincoln to attend the University of Nebraska. There he met his future wife, Jo Ann, and was married to her on August 12, 1950. For 40 years, Stan was a plumber for Wentz Plumbing, retiring in 1990. In addition, he was an entrepreneur, a real-estate agent, and an antique dealer. Stan & Jody “worked/played” at this until 2 years ago.
Stan is survived by his wife, Jody (Lincoln), son Mike Drabant (and Doris) of Houston, daughters Becky Moock(and Jim), Jenny Drabant-Greever(and Brent), and Kris Koch (and Dan). Grandchildren include Dr. Bradlee Drabant (Los Vegas, NV), Brian Moock (and Christi), Jeff Moock (and Shelby), Dave Moock, Melissa (and Luis) Soares of Prince George, Canada, Jessica Meyers, Jennifer Greever, Sarah Davis (and Dan), and Josh Koch (and Mandy) all of Lincoln. Great (and great-great) grandchildren include Erik Hall, JJ Koch, Nathan Koch, Kelsey Koch, Kayden Koch, Emma Davis, Lilly Davis, and Eli Anderson. He was preceeded in death by his parents and siblings, Eve Drabant, William Drabant, and Carrie Osinski, and granddaughter Lori Drabant.
Services for Stanley are scheduled on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 11:00 at Wyuka Funeral Home.
Visitation will begin at Noon on Tuesday, February 10th at Wyuka Funeral Home with the family present from 6:00-7:30 P.M.

Becky, i am so sorry to hear of your loss. I know he was a very important part of your life. I will not be able to attend his funeral as i just had total knee replacement surgery on Tuesday. I will be thinking of you and your family during your time of loss. Praying for all of you, Cheryl
I knew Stan since first meeting him at Wentz Plumbing & Heating in 1975. I worked on some construction projects for Stan. He was well known and respected in the industry. Stan also had a solid knowledge of antiques as well as many other things.
Stan was a friend that had an impact on my life and he will be missed.
