Marvin G. Anderson known to his friends as “Captain Andy” age 72 of Lincoln, died April 14, 2015 in Omaha.  He was born August 23, 1942 in Ainsworth, Nebraska to Charles Anderson and Fern Meyers.  Marvin was proud to be a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and attained the rank of Sergeant.  He was awarded the Bronze Star while serving in Vietnam.   Marvin lived in Germany before moving back to the United States.  He was named employee of the year more than once when he worked at  Tabitha Health Care.  Marvin was also the manager at the Foxy Lady for a number of years.

Survivors include two daughters, Lori and Bonnie; Mother, Fern; Sister, Carol and two brothers, Fred and Larry.  Lifetime friend, Sandra Irwin.  His three companions: Peggy, Sammy and Trudy.  He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, April 20, 2015 at Wyuka Funeral Home.  Burial with military rites will be at Wyuka Cemetery.
