In Loving Memory of
Frazzie Lee Wynn
September 26, 1934 -June 7, 2015
Frazzie was born in Greenwood, Mississippi to Lee Wynn and Lula Wynn (Stovall). Together they had four children and Frazzie was the youngest of the four children.
Frazzie attended public school in Greenwood MS where he completed the 11th grade.
In his younger years Frazzie fathered three children – Francine Wilder Henderson, Grant Wynn and Patricia Davis.
Frazzie later moved to Benton Harbor, Michigan where he helped his father run a grocery store/restaurant.
He later moved to Chicago, Illinois where he worked at an iron foundry; he also worked as a diesel mechanic.
While in Chicago he met Ora Lee Whiters. Together they had two daughters – Michelle Denise Wynn and Nikita Renee Wynn.
In 1968 Frazzie, Ora and their daughters moved to Wichita, Kansas where he was a mechanic at Goodyear. He later worked for Bray Lines, where he bought his first 18 wheeler and went
into business for himself as an over the road truck driver. He later became employed with Consolidated Freightways. While employed with Consolidated, he also owned a full service
Texaco gas station.
In 1981 his job relocated to Lincoln, Nebraska where he continued his employment with Consolidated until he retired.
After his retirement Frazzie enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and walking his dogs.
Frazzie was preceded in death by his father (Lee), mother (Lula), four brothers and two sisters; son Grant Wynn; and daughter Michelle (Wynn) Hoover.
He is survived by wife Ora Lee Wynn; daughters Francie Henderson, Patricia Davis, Nikita Allen and Keisha Wynn; son Frazzie Wynn Jr.; and numerous grand and great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service with Reception will be held at Wyuka Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with a luncheon to follow in Wyuka’s Garden Room.
I’m saddened by the loss of Frazzie. I, along with my mother, Donna, would occasionally talk with Frazzie while we visited our uncle at Douglas. Frazzie was a great presence there – I wish I could have gotten to know him better. His entire family is in our thoughts.
I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Frazzie. I would occasionally visit Frazie when I visited my uncle, Bernard (Gene) in Omaha. My mother, Donna, would also talk to Frazzie when she visited Gene. Frazzie was a great person to talk with – I wish I could have gotten to know him better. His entire family is in our thoughts right now.

Ora and family…we are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you! We will always cherish the memories we shared as neighbors and friends.
