Mrs. Ebner will be greatly missed. I remember her smile and her positive attitude – whether as a mother, or a fellow member of Redeemer, or as the manager of the Jr. League Thrift Shop. Dottie and I had many good times in confirmation and junior high.
Dorothy extended me an especially nice kindness many years ago related to the Jr. League Thrift Store, and thinking of her brings very fond associations. I imagine her family hears that a lot. Through her actions she was much more influential than she would have realized, and we’re all the better off for having known her.
I met Dorothy about 27 years ago when she was signing my daughter, Sarah up for cradle roll at Redeemer Lutheran. I moved away several years ago, but manage to visit Redeemer every now and then. Dorothy always remembered me and my daughter. She exemplified Christianity and has left a lasting impression on me. God rest your soul dear one until we meet again.
