James Byron Jackson age 67 of Lincoln, passed away November 29, 2015. He was born August 31, 1948 in Valentine, Nebraska to Byron and Viola (Wondercheck) Jackson. Jim was a 1968 graduate of Gordon High School and was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1969 and served until 1970. He was a 35 year employee of the BNSF Railroad, working as a signalman. Jim was very artistic and loved to find antiques and give new life to them.
Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Larry Clymer of Lincoln; brother, Bill Jackson of Lincoln. Nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters, Betty Marianne and Donna.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 4, 2015 at Wyuka Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will be at Wyuka Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 3rd from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Wyuka Funeral Home.

I worked with Jim at BNSF. He was my mentor and taught me many things. He will be missed.
