Winifred Katherine Pikelis, loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother age 93 of Omaha, formerly of Lincoln passed away February 23, 2018. She was born November 25, 1924 in Pörtschach am Wörthersee, Austria to Franz Xavier and Johanna (Samitc) Jaeger. Winifred married Alexander Pikelis in Austria on January 22, 1949.
She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Alexander and Lenell Pikelis, Preston Pikelis and Win Pikelis. Grandchildren and spouse, Olivia Marie and Thomas Streeter, and Karl Pikelis. Winifred was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Alexander (Obituary), her parents, one brother, Franz and daughter-in-law Elizabeth Pikelis.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Wyuka Funeral Home.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 1st from 9:00 A.M. until service time at Wyuka Funeral Home.
Interment will be at Wyuka Cemetery.
Family requests memorials in lieu of flowers to the Capitol Humane Society.

My condolences are with family and friends at this time. Winifred was a very nice lady and always a pleasure to be around. I enjoyed calling Bingo and seeing the excitement on her face when she won! She will definitely be missed around the Towers.
I will miss her at Bingo as well as her Son Win. He was so good to his Mother. Winifred a special Lady, Kind to all. I was shocked when I found out such a precious Lady is no longer with us. My condolences to all her family.
