  2. Phyllis was my very special friend for a couple years. Our friendship started with conversations and hugs when she and Verdon came in every morning for coffee at Hy-Vee. I’ve never met their family but they were always in our daily conversations. Phyllis quickly found a special place in my heart because she reminded me of my own grandma. I will cherish our memories forever and Phyllis will be greatly missed!

  4. Dear Linda & family,
I am very sad to hear of your loss. Your home was my haven in Junior High. I learned to use just a dab of toothpaste instead of covering the whole brush. I still absolutely adore camping. I would not have known what is was like if not for your pop-up in the driveway or the tent in your backyard. Everytime I see a windmill I think of you all. All of your kindness to me was & is deeply appreciated. Thank you for everything. I hope this finds everyone else doing okay.
