Mike and Debbie, I was so sorry to hear about Donnie. He was such a special cousin to our family. And a gentle soul. Our family reunions were never quite the same when he could not attend. Deb and I are thinking of you and your families.
Debbie and Mike: Sincere condolences. We lived next door to your family on Pawnee for a couple of years (Schwieder family). Recall having so much fun with Pulhamus’ and Brickson families. Remember visiting in Omaha once on the way to my grandparents. Wish I’d known Donnie was in Lincoln; he was such a gentle soul. Keeping you and your families in my thoughts and prayers.
Mike and family,
I’m so very sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed my conversations with Don! He kept me on my toes, and kept me laughing. He was such a giving person, and would help anyone. Don always saw the best in others! I will miss Don and his many adventures in life! He always swore he would give me gray hair, which I always denied and said, ‘no way!’ My secret joke was that with the amount of dye I put in my hair, I probably wouldn’t ever know if I got a gray one!
Don was my friend, and I will miss him. I’m grateful that he was a part of my life and he taught me so much!
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
