Rockford Young 72, of Lincoln,  passed away October 21, 2020. He was born June 2, 1948 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Rock was a member of the US Army and served in Viet Nam. He spent time in Germany, Colorado, Texas, Georgia and Maryland.  His last assignment was Korea. He was always proud of his service to his country.

Rock loved cars from the time he was a teenager and he owned many over the years. His last new truck sat in the carport even though he could no longer drive.

Rock is survived by his sons Christopher Young and Anthony Young. Sister Terri (Mel) Tappe, Brothers Tim (Monika) Young and Jeff Young. Grandchildren Austin Young, Collin Young, Sydney Young and Kaetlyn Young. Special niece Holly Young who visited often and made sure he had what he needed. Niece Sabrina Young.  Nephews Wade Young, Sam Galloway. Friends Jack and Susan Gleason.

Rock was preceded in death by Son SFC Shawn Young, Parents Virginia and Kelvin Young, Grandparents.
