Janis P. Bauers, 89, of Lincoln, passed away on January 3, 2021 at Tabitha Nursing and Rehabilitation center.
Janis was born on February 18, 1931 to George and Valera McFadden in Otoe County.
Janis is survived by her son Harlan Bauers; daughter Aloris (David) Jones; two grandchildren Tonya (William) Remaklus, and John (Richelle) Jones; six great-grandchildren Erin Remaklus, Joseph (Nicole) Remaklus, Logan Remaklus, Nikolai Remaklus, Alyssa Jones, and Connor Jones; three great great grandchildren Lillian Remaklus-Drummond, Adam Topil, and Olivia Remaklus.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Bauers; parents George and Valera McFadden; and sister Dorothy (Donald) Krecklow.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 8 at 10:30 A.M. with Pastor Dan Wing officiating. This service is limited to the family but will be livestreamed online at www.wyuka.com. This will be accessible to the public via Janis’ obituary page. Memorials may be made in care of the Bauers Family. Wyuka Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
