Alexander Pikelis age 90, passed away July 6, 2015 at the St. Joseph Villa in Omaha.  He was born May 20, 1925 in Siauliai, Lithuania to Anton and Sophia (Valantinaicivte) Pikelis.  Alex worked as a union electrician and was a member of IBEW #1525 and the Nebraska Army National Guard.  He married his wife, Winifred on January 22, 1949 in Austria.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Winifred (Jaeger) Pikelis; Sons and daughter-in-law; Alexander Frank and Lenell Pikelis, Preston Alfred Pikelis and Win Pikelis.  Grandchildren and spouse; Olivia Marie and Thomas Streeter and Karl Frank Pikelis.  Alex was preceded in death by his parents, Sisters; Ellen, Sophia and Marie.  Daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Pikelis.

Services will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Wyuka Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, July 10th.

Interment will be at Wyuka Cemetery.
