I used to pick her up for meetings, etc. She was such a loving mother. In visiting we discovered that our husbands were buried just a few feet away in the Soldiers Circle. She was a sister-in-law to my mother, Millie Theiler Schaffer. Sorry to hear about your mom, she was the last one living in that group. I had not seen her in years but remember her as a child and it is all good. So glad you let everyone know through the Theiler connection. Wish I had known you were in VA. My son was in Arlington with the Navy for over four years and would have tried to connect.
We currently live in Green Bay, WI but also own a motel in Ontonagon, MI of which my husband is managing. We are hoping to retire soon.
How are your siblings? We will have to make an effort to connect in the future.
I have some old family pictures and will make copies and send to you.
