Barbara Jean Anderson
June 22, 1948 – July 15,2023
By the degrees she has,
Or what she received from another?
No, it’s the love from her children
When she needs it the most.
It’s the stroke of her hair,
Sweet talk in her ear,
And the wipe of her brow.
Mammas are special
By what their babies will show.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Hal Anderson; son, Jim (Valerie) Lake; daughter, Stephanie (Ted) Harris; son, Christopher (Hannah) Anderson; step son, John Anderson and his husband Tom Giordano; grandchildren, Hayden Lake, Avery Lake, Penelope Harris, and Elizabeth Harris; and sister, Betty Lou (Thomas) Ball.

Sorry for the family’s loss. Barb was a real and pleasant lady. Skip
My heart goes out to the family. Jim shared so many stories of this powerful woman, I feel like I knew her and all her greatness. Love and hugs to everyone.
We love our Aunt Barbara more than words could ever express. Comforted to know that she and our mom and their parents are laughing together once again in heaven. Aunt Barbara’s electric smile, generous spirit, and loving heart will never, ever be forgotten and will be with us all forever. Rest in peace, beloved aunt ❤️
She will be missed by so many. Her smile was contagious and her love for her family was felt by all. May she rest in peace. My condolences to the family.
To Hal and family: we are sorry to hear of Barb’s death. As Christians, though, we know our real home is in Heaven. Deepest sympathy for the great loss we know you are feeling.
My deepest sympathy to all who knew and loved Barbara! I am unable to be with you as you celebrate the life of this wonderful person, but you are all in my thoughts and prayers! May your memories fill the hole in your heart!!
My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in Barb’s family. We lost touch but I know we were in each other’s hearts as we remember our hours of really worthwhile and fun volunteer work done for Arts Organizations in our community. My heart is now breaking, my dear friend, but I am happy that you are enjoying rest in paradise and I’ll see you when it’s my time. Much love, my dear friend.
Sorry for the loss of your dear Mother, Wife & friend. Barb is now celebrating eternal life in Heaven. Our thoughts & prayers go out to the entire Anderson Family.
