Charlene Hoskin, 63, of Lincoln NE passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021 in her home, as she wanted. Charlene was born March 21, 1958 in Chicago IL to Lucille and Rufus Roundtree, and is remembered by her life partner Kevin Wright; her seven siblings: Mary Don, Ezra, Versie, Chester, Tyron, and Lucille; and preceded in death by 2 siblings: Enoch and Pearlene. She is also preceded in death by her loving parents, Lucille and Rufus, along with her son Richmond. Charlene was the mother of eight: Saul Roundtree, Felicia Scott, Richmond Roundtree, Angela Brown, and Sathina Morse; including her three grandsons: Jalen Roundtree, Gregg Roundtree, and Zion Roundtree. She was the grandmother of 12, the great-grandmother of six, and the fur-grandmother of four.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, April 3, 2021. Due to COVID-19 space is limited, but we encourage friends to attend virtually via zoom. My condolences to Angela and to your whole family. I never had the privilege of meeting Charlene, but from what I understand she had a lot of love to give. Holding space in my heart for all of you during this time.
