To this day, I still set up the train underneath my Christmas tree…or rather my children set it up and play with it. The writing contest, sponsored by Mr. Loeck, helped show me that I could be successful in school and beyond. I have since earned an Associates Degree, two Bachelors degrees, two Masters degrees, and a Doctorate degree. Currently, I am in my 18th year as a high school teacher.

I was grateful to have been able to share my achievements with Mr. Loeck back in 2016 after earning my doctorate and he reciprocated with great wisdom, “…never forget that you and God get credit for your rich, full, successful life.”

One never fully sees (or hears) the long lasting impact they make on others. Although I was saddened to come across Mr. Loeck’s obituary the other day, his impact lives on.

It seems like yesterday we were watching our kids play bass in orchestra, helping us sell a house or talking about his passion for cars. He was the kind of person you could never forget because of his positive outlook. He was the consummate professional that will be sorely missed and always remembered.

Craig was a great realtor and friend that we will remember forever. During the late 1970’s the interest rate was so high that it was nearly impossible to buy a home, but Craig helped made our dream come true! God bless him.

Craig was a special man. I met him in the late 80’s and was taken with him right away. Craig was a friend, one who I feel I could have called at any time for guidance and advice. He will be sorely missed by many who loved and respected him.

You were always there for me and for John. I will never forget. One of my fondest memories of late was observing you and Craig proudly enjoying a Lincoln Symphony concert with Sam performing. Bless you all. May Craig’s memory always be for blessing.
