Delores M. Bergantzel, 86, went to her heavenly home on October 21, 2018. She was born on February 1, 1932 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Ethel and Ralph Brammer, Sr.Delores met the love of her life, Dale Bergantzel when she was only 15 years old. They were married 3 years later in 1950.In the following years, Dale and Delores built a house together on Potter street, in which they lived there for 65 years. They also raised five children. Delores was an excellent stay-at-home mom, caring for their children and home. Delores loved all children. So naturally, after raising her own children, Delores helped care for other children in her in-home day care, which she had for 25 years.
Survivors include: Children, Dianna and Bobby Lybarger, Lisa and Steve Todd, Susan and Warren Goodbrod, Sharon and Mike Leif, Leonard (Jake) and Lori Bergantzel; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Dale Bergantzel, her parents and siblings.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 25th at Wyuka Funeral Home. Visitation at Wyuka Funeral Home, Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Memorials to the family for further designation.
Delores was a very loving person, and boy did she love children.

I was looking up some ancestry information. I was friends with James Ray and met Dale and Delores through him. Great people!
Omg I have thought of her and dale for 14 yrs. They baby sat my boys as babies till school age. Dale was a great guy and laughed hard and loud happy voice. Delores was loving and loved buying dolls. They both came to my wedding and babysat my children at my wedding and reception in 1999. I’ve always thought about them numerous times after. And just saw this that they both passed away. Dale always called my youngest son pee went. He would be happy to know that both of my sons are 24 and 22 now. My 22 year-old is a plumber. And pee went they called which his real name is Jordan is a deputy sheriff in California with me. They loved my boys so much. Im sad to see they both past. Delores and Dale used to say that the kids can call him Grandma and Grandpa. They were really great people who I trusted and I thought was family.
