She was a joy. Everyone knew Diane and her companion, Heidi. No one remained a stranger to Diane. I was privileged to call her my friend and blessed to have known her. My sympathy to the whole family.

She was an important figure when I was still a young boy…almost like a 2nd mom when I was hanging out with Phil and the rest of the Gaines family. I’ll always be fond of those days and how Diane was there for us all along the way as our gang of young men grew up and eventually went off to college. She always shared her positive energy and loving sunshine with all of us! I apologize that I can’t be with you all for the ceremonies this week. Please know that I’ll be there in spirit and wishing the family all of my deepest condolences and peace.
