After she was widowed, Doris worked for the Weatherization Program at Lincoln Action for 25 years. Doris enjoyed sitting in her flower garden, reading and watching the wildlife. She loved animals, and doted on her two cats. Doris was feisty, outspoken, and mischievous. She had a sassy sense of humor and loved to laugh; you couldn’t help but laugh with her.
