Dustin L. Down, 27, of Lincoln, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022.

Visitation will take place on Friday, June 10, 2022, from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. at Wyuka Funeral Home with the Funeral Service beginning at 2:00. Julie Pulec is officiating. Memorials may be made in care of the family to designate at a later time.

Dustin was born on June 18, 1994, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

He is survived by his mother Jody Rohe; sisters Christina Johnson, Shawna (Juan) Garcia, and Stephanie (Derek) Johnson; brothers Geno Edgar Jr., Dalton (Taylen) Davis, Dj Waitscox, Riley Waitscox, Derrick Lorentz; Grandfather Gerald Down (Nancy), Love of his life, Samantha Jean Granger. He is also survived by numerous aunts/uncles, cousins, nieces/nephews, his friends and his fur babies, Cola, and Charlie.

He was Preceded in death by his father David Waitscox, Grandparents, brothers De Tanequodle, Michael Down, as well as aunts/uncles, and cousins.

Dustin lived a hard life, but a meaningful life. He was who he wanted to be. Full of life and love. He was always the one you could count on and would give you the shirt off his back to make sure you didn’t go without. The job he loved the most was his landscaping and how he would make everything nice because in the end that’s how he lived his life; beautiful and full. He wanted peace and love and for his family and friends to be together. He did just that. He will be missed dearly by so many.
