ELEANORE FLOTH ALT

Eleanore, 96, died peacefully at home with her family on June 22, 2011.  Eleanore was born and spent most of her life in Lincoln, NE.   She loved to laugh.  Her warm, generous spirit was an inspiration to all who knew her.  Survivors include children Caroll (David L.) Meyers, LaVon Alt, George Alt; grandchildren James (Jeannine) Meyers, John (Becky) Meyers, Daniel Nordquist; seven great-grandchildren; a sister Lillian Meierjurgen.  She was preceded in death by her husband George Alt Jr.; grandson David R. Meyers; brothers Arthur and Leroy Floth.  Eleanore’s pies were famous.  She was skilled in the needle-arts crochet, knitting and quilting.  She will be greatly missed by those she touched.  Private services.  The family suggests contributions to PMS Hospice Center, 1400 Chama Ave., Santa Fe, NM  87505.
