  2. Knowing our own mortality is too often tearfully impacted by those special friends and family that leave before us. This is one of those times for me. The many special memories that I have become even more cherished and celebrated at this time for someone who was especially so kind and generous. Please know that my caring thoughts are with you all now and in the days to come.

Even though have not seen him in many years when I spoke with Gary on phone a year ago. His tone was as if we were together yesterday. All who knew him will hurt from his absence. 13. Wishing you peace and care at this difficult time. In my first year as a Sheldon docent you invited our group to your wonderful car museum. I had a car problem and Gary graciously stayed with me until help arrived. He was so sincere and interesting – a true gentleman.

  14. I am so sorry to read of Gary’s passing. I have good memories of his uproarious laugh in response to one of my jokes! The two of us had a memorable history together beginning at Hy-Gain where Gary started as a mechanical engineer and then came to work with me as manager of the military marketing tasks and traveling around the world with me to Market Hy-gain’s military/international products. When Hy-gain crashed, he went his way and I mine with each of us creating successful new companies but keeping in touch. God Bless him and keep him! Condolences to Susan and family from Dick Heinke!

  19. Gary it was an honor to have known you. I always enjoyed the conversations we had and your unique perspective on things. From a time when I was a much younger fella working on the transition team to the new shop and practicing my communication skills on the company pa, to horsing around at the lake, to 30 years later and you helping me grow my own company. You were always able to see the good through the orneriness. You will be missed but never forgotten, safe travels on your next destination. Our thoughts are with you and your family.

  25. Our deepest sympathy sent to you. Like my sister said, we are old Fairbury neighbors and friends. I remember that Otto was so proud of Gary and would tell us all about him and his grandsons when we would visit Otto and Donna after they moved to Lincoln. Imagine my surprise, when my son, Mark, told me he was parking cars as a fundraiser for his SKILLS group at Fairbury High School and it happened to be for Gary Kuck’s car show. Small world! Please know that we are keeping your family in our prayers.

  29. Susan and family – Chris and I were so sorry to hear of Gary’s passing – he was a pioneer in the business that we love. I remember coming to Lincoln for a visit one time and him taking me around the plant – it was so clean and neat. He told me that the workers took pride in working there and kept things in order. I also remember the anniversary party in Vegas where he sang to you, something I’m sure none of us will forget. We also went downtown Atlanta one time to see him off on one of his cross country races. We have fond memories of him. We hope your memories give you comfort at this time.
