James R. “Jim” Krcmarik, age 77 of Lincoln passed away peacefully at home with his family Thursday, May 9, 2013. He was born June 13, 1935 in Lincoln to Charles and Josephine (Wagner) Krcmarik. Jim served with the Nebraska Army National Guard in the 3667 ordinance battalion. He worked as an electrician with the BNSF railroad and was a member of the IBEW. Jim and Birdie were camp hosts for over 15 years and it was their biggest pastime. He also enjoyed Nascar racing, fishing and horseshoes.
Survivors include his wife Alberda “Birdie”, daughter: Lorie Chrastil, son and daughter-in-law: Mark and Carla Krcmarik, son-in-law: Jim Williams. Grandchildren and spouses: Brandon and Jessica Chrastil, Nate Chrastil, Dave and Stacy Everson, Rob and KellyJo Everson, Chrissa Bonow, Elyse and Austin Weaver, Alex Williams and fiance Tiffinii Eberspacher, Lauren and Jake Ganow, Mason Krcmarik. Great grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Kobe, Robbie, Peytin and Colton. Jim is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law: Dave and Evelyn Krcmarik, Don and Beth Krcmarik and Marge Krcmarik. Many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his daughter, Robyn (Krcmarik) Williams, son-in-law: Randy Chrastil, his parents and many brothers and sisters.
Services will be held on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. in the Wyuka funeral home chapel. Private family visitation only. Interment with military honors will be at Wyuka cemetery.
Memorials may be left to the family.
