Janette Sigler, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away, leaving a legacy of love, dedication, and warmth.
Born to Don and Carol Walin, Janette was preceded in death by her parents, her devoted husband, Clay Sigler, and her brother, Bryce Walin. She is survived by her loving daughter Dawn, son Dustin, and stepsons Kevin, Keith, and Kenny. Janette was a proud grandmother to Tatiana, Bianca, Dakotah, Tawnee, and Kaine, and cherished her 12 great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy.
Janette was especially close to Diane, Allan, and Brody Hardman, who held a special place in her heart.
Janette’s love for her family was evident in the countless gatherings she cherished. She had a passion for traveling and found joy in the companionship of her beloved cats. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her family, as she dedicated her career to supporting others. Janette worked as a special education paraprofessional for Lincoln Public Schools and made significant contributions at the Nature Center at Pioneers Park in Lincoln.
Janette’s warmth, kindness, and love touched everyone she met. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She sounds like a remarkable woman, and I know she’s terribly missed. My heartfelt condolences to all who love her.
