I’m certain that John left deep traces on so many other lives. I promise to celebrate your memory, and share them with others you’ve helped to mold.

Your family is in our hearts and prayers. If life is measured by how many have been touched by another, the tape measure isn’t long enough for John’s life. I met him so many years ago when I would be at the Schuldeis/Kuebler family gatherings and as time went on, it amazed me that he knew so many people who called John their friend.

As a kid, my husband Randy idolized John and was so happy to say they were family. There are so many stories…

He will be missed by many.

We little knew that day,
God was going to call your name.
I life we all admired you,
in death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you,
you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.

You left us wonderful memories,
your strength is still our guide.
And though we cannot see you,
you are always by our side.

Our friendship chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.

My deepest sympathies to John’s family and friends. I met John in Havelock at about 14…wild times those days! Then reconnected about 2 yrs ago with John, Chuck S, Lee K, Paul Z, and Dick W at Scooters downtown for coffee and tall tales. Good times…The best of times!
