I just seen this, what a shock to my soul. Joyce was always so kind and caring to me, I thought of her as a second mom. She always gave me such great advice and cheered me up when I was hurting. She will be surely missed and I will never forget her.

Dearest Renee and siblings,
I have been thinking about your mom for months, and now find that she is no longer with us. I am so sorry I had not had the time to call…
Your dad and my mother-in-law (Rexine Pease) were first cousins. My husband, Joe, idolized Darrell, who was ~ 7 years older than he. While I only saw you kids a few times over your growing-up, after Mom Pease passed, I’d kept up with Joyce (or she with me, truth be told!) for many years. If you can find my phone number and/or address in her effects, (or if you have access to my e-address here!) please reach out. I was just getting ready to call to catch her up about Joe and prefer not to elaborate on this memory page. Joyce was a wonderful lady: strong, hard-working, funny, and compassionate. In reply to Teresa Luers. I want to give my sincere sympathy to the Aupperle family. Renee and Sonja my heart is sad right now, I had no idea your mom had passed until Anita told me today. I surely would have come to the celebration of life for your mom. I often think of the afternoon my mother and I spent with Joyce, Renee, and Sonja. what a special moment.
